The role

A full-time installer role for a Gas Safe engineer who takes pride in a clean install and a properly commissioned boiler. The office surveys and quotes, the materials arrive on site, and your week is planned for you.

You will be working under the David Osborne Heating name, Gas Safe registration 2836, alongside a small team that has been installing, servicing and repairing boilers in East Kent for over 25 years.

What you'll be doing

Install combi, system and regular boilers to our fixed-price quotes, including conversions from system or regular to combi
Fit flues (horizontal and vertical), filters, controls and the pipework changes each job needs
Commission every boiler correctly, complete the Benchmark and our installation record with photos on the certificates app
Carry out powerflushes and system cleans where quoted
Leave the customer with a working system they understand, and the property as you found it
Flag anything unsafe or outside the quote to the office before going ahead
Attend Gas Safe Register inspection visits on your work when they arise

What we need from you

Current Gas Safe registration with ACS: CCN1 and CENWAT as a minimum
At least three years’ experience installing domestic gas boilers
Neat pipework and a proper commissioning routine, every time
Up-to-date knowledge of current regulations and manufacturer requirements
Comfortable using a phone app for job sheets, photos and certificates
Full UK driving licence
Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a small team

Nice to have

Unvented hot water (G3)
Vaillant Advance or Worcester Accredited Installer status
Powerflushing experience
An interest in heat pumps and renewables
